Meet See Loo Peng

Loo Peng is an experienced and dedicated teacher with impressive credentials in Chinese. She holds a diploma in Chinese Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Bachelors of Arts (Honours) in Chinese from Nanyang Technological University.

She has more than 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, from pre-schoolers, primary school students to secondary students in the private tutoring sector. During her years of teaching, she sees the struggle of students in learning Chinese Language. She believes every student learns in their own unique way. Therefore, she uses multiple methods of teaching (linguistic, visual, auditory, kinaesthetic) to teach students, so that no one is left behind. 

At The Learning Lab (TLL), she was the segment-lead in the Chinese curriculum development at Xin Zhong Wen (TLL’s Chinese department). She believes scaffolding the curriculum is a viable approach to help students master Chinese Language and this is reflected in the curriculum she writes.

After leaving TLL, Loo Peng joined an online learning company, Edoovo, whereby she is responsible for the development of framework and production of quality lesson materials for its Chinese programmes.
