Meet Jeannie Ko

Jeannie is an experienced special needs teacher and has been working in special education for the past 10 years. She has taught a diverse group of students such as those with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and challenging disruptive behaviours. Throughout her teaching career, she meticulously design and implement interactive lessons by using manipulatives and assistive technology to meet the individual needs of her students.

Her extensive years of teaching experience has taught her the value of patience and encouragement in the special education classroom. She believes that with the right support and encouragement, students can be successful in their learning.

Jeannie has a Master of Arts in Specific Learning Differences along with certifications in Early Childhood Education – Teaching and Leadership, Autism and Dyslexia Studies. She is known among her colleagues and students to be a patient and nurturing educator.
